2008 & 2009

How I miss those days.  Such great ages and we had so much fun.  I know the days were probably very long for me back then but they were awesome...

I really miss having little ones...

back when taking the kids to the beach was fun...and they played in the sand...

and my Dad was still here...

and I could actually get Gianna to dress in pink and have her wear tops like this one...

and when the Magic Kingdom was new to them and exciting...

and Julia wore the cutest dresses ever with adorable inexpensive backpacks...

and those simple little velcro sandals...

It was so easy back then to pick up little outfits at Target or Children's Place.  So much easier than it is now...

and I loved those preschool Little Blessing days so much...

I miss her obsession with her stuffed friends and how she would throw them down the stairs...one by one by one by one...to play with them all day...

She brought one of them with her everywhere we went.  She still sleeps with them.  And if we go somewhere overnight she will still bring one or two...or three with her...

I miss those snugly onesie pajamas...

I miss how Julia played with her dolls and loved her Barbie movies...OK she still watches Barbie movies...I do too...

Oh how she loved Nemo...

and when activities were easy...like Cub Scouts...

and hockey was like once a week...

and so was dance...

and we could still pick them up and hold them in our arms and carry them around...

and how they could fall asleep just about anywhere...

and we did simple gymnastic classes with no flipping...

and my Dad was still here...

and how they all went to the same elementary school...

and they didn't have iPhones and access to social media...

Yes, I really miss those days.

Julia at 13

My beautiful tiny girl...

September Happenings

I haven't posted in a while so this will be a mish mash of what's been going on in this beautiful month of September.  It's been gorgeous weather for sure. We went to the drive in movies one night.  We saw Jurassic Park and Gianna hated it...

Poor thing kept a blanket over head practically the entire movie.  Nicholas and I were really comfy in our beach chairs in the back of the van.  Sadly Julia missed this one as she was at a sleepover...

We celebrated CeCe's birthday...

My girls will never be too old to ride the train at our church fair...

We went apple picking after missing last year...

Daddy is so strong...he can still pick up the girls to reach the best apples way up high...

Yes, they have great apples...but....the main attraction for us are the delicious homemade donuts...

and freshly popped kettle corn...YUM!!!

I have been wanting to go to Muse paint bar for ages and finally got to go!!  I was invited to Julia's friends 13th birthday party.  : )  We had so much fun!  I'm so happy that I was invited to go to hang out with the birthday girl's mom and so happy that Julia actually wanted me there!

Such a nice group of girls...

Julia and the birthday girl Lizzie...

Julia put all of us to shame with her artistic skills.  Boy oh boy she didn't get that from me...

Suzanne the artist...

Oh how I tried...

Julia H., Emily, Lizzie, Arianna and my Julia...

Not sure what's going on with my water...

And I just got back from five relaxing days on the Cape with my very best friends. We had incredible weather and went to the beach everyday.  We also did fun grown up stuff that I normally wouldn't get to do like taking long nature walks at a sanctuary and visiting a winery.

Anne was there too but just for one day.  I wasn't able to get a picture of her with us.  Actually, I barely took any pictures at all.

Christine, me, Patty, Marcy and Michele...

We've all been friends for over 30 years.  Wow.  I'm so glad they are all still in my life.
