A few more pictures...

I ordered a few more pictures from Starquest. They really do get some fabulous shots that I could never get on my own.

Julia's lyric "Promise Land"...

Julia's tap "Coffee To Go"...

Gianna is the 3rd from the right...

Gianna front and center...she looked awesome in this dance.  She dances with such emotion.  That comes from within.  You can't teach that...

Julia's acro/lyric "This is the Moment" (she's on the far left)...

Skip Day with my boy

Shhhh...this past Friday Nicholas and I played "hookie".  Remember how I just did that with Julia?  Well, it was Nicholas' turn.  : )

We did a little spring clothes shopping for him and bought some bathing suits and shorts. (He likes them long...like past his knees long...and he's grown a lot since last year.)  Then we went to one of his favorite places...Dave & Busters...for lunch and to play some games...

This is root beer in case anyone is wondering...

We love this appetizer...soft warm pretzels...so so good....

And how could any kid resist this nutritious lunch???  ; )  Of course he barely ate any of it because he just wanted to play games...

And my lunch...yum!!  I ate all mine!

I don't think he won nearly enough tickets...haha!!

I played games too like the motorcycle and race car games.  I love those!

We walked through the mall holding hands of course.  My boy still holds my hand.  So cute. I know he felt so special spending the day together in secret from his sisters.  It was very special for me too.

Julia through the years

I was trying to remember Julia's first Father Daughter Dance. And then I finally found the pictures!

Kindergarten...

First grade...

Second grade...

Third grade...

Fourth grade...

and this year...5th grade...

She gets more beautiful and sweeter with the years.  She melts my heart.

Little Red Schoolhouse

It's a tradition at our elementary school for the 3rd grade children to learn about colonial days and to take a field trip to the Little Red Schoolhouse in town.  It was built back in the 1850's.  The children dress up in colonial outfits and spend the day learning and playing like the children did back in those days.

My friend Suzanne made this outfit for Gianna.  Gianna's a tough one when it comes to clothes...but she loved it...

I don't think Gianna would ever be put in the corner with this on her head...

More celebrating...

More 9th birthday celebrating happened over the weekend....

I think my Dad stopped by too...see the dots in the picture??   : )

Gianna got some really cute and fun gifts.  More plastic dogs to add to her collection...

No birthday would be compete for Gianna without some cuddly stuffed animals...

Julia my goofball...

A cute puzzle...and she got a few new games which are really fun...

Happy 9th birthday to my sweet girl...
