L-O-V-E

I love my sweet Nicholas.  He holds my hand, hugs me and tells me at least 20 times a day that he loves me.  And...he is in 5th grade and STILL asks for a hug before he gets on the bus...in front of his friends!  That's my lovable boy!!! 

I love my precious Julia.  She is my mini me and I know she loves her Mama to the core.  We have our secrets.  We have our own language.  We have our own private jokes.  How I love my Julia Rose.

I love my little Gianna Mae.  She knows exactly how to make me smile.  She knows exactly what to say or what faces to make that gets me every single time.  She loves her Mama.  That I know for sure.

I love my Daniel.  I think it's truly remarkable how he is still by my side after nearly 20 years of marriage.  He loves me.  He gets me and I get him.  It's so comforting to know he is in charge of our little family. 

How lucky am I?

Sleeping Beauty

Julia's ballet school performed Sleeping Beauty this weekend.  Julia danced the role of one of the Pied Piper children.  She was wonderful! 

An Artist

My nephew, Justin, is quite the artist.  I think this is amazing!!!  He's only 10!

Turn it Up

What a day for Julia!!  She placed 1st overall in the junior solo division today!  (And that was out of 56 solos!!!)  She had the most AMAZING performance today!!  She was exquisite! 

And Gianna did great today too!  She was so happy with her picture!  Last competition I got this picture but she was looking down and her feet weren't pointed.  So this time, she fixed it just so she could get this picture!!!  She told me to put it on the fridge.  Of course I will!!  She didn't even need to ask.  My baby girl did wonderful today too.  What a day!!!

Happy 8th Birthday Gianna!

Happy birthday to my baby girl! 

Gianna Mae, you add sunshine, joy and laughter to our lives.  What a personality you have!  We are so lucky you're ours!!! 

I keep telling you how much you are going to love being 8 years old!  There is so much more you can do when you're 8!   You'll be stronger, smarter and I'm sure even funnier...if that's even possible...

Squirt A Champions!!!

Nicholas' team won the Squirt A championship tonight!  It was a fantastic year for him playing goalie.

Gianna's birthday party

Gianna had her 8th birthday party at Monkey Joe's!  She invited all her good friends from school and dance...

It was her idea to have a "dog" cake.  She picked out her favorite dogs from her collection.  They all have names of course.  She wasn't too happy when her friends asked if they could each have one after she blew out the candles!  I don't think they realized they are her prized possessions!  I quickly gathered them and put them in my pocketbook for safe keeping....
