Last weekend...

OK so I'm a little behind. I found these pictures on my phone from last weekend.

Gianna got kinetic sand for Christmas and has been having a lot of fun with it. This is a silly looking snowman...

And we had a snowstorm last Saturday night.  I loved being snowed in with Danny and the girls (Nicholas was at a friend's house). We had hot chocolate by the fire and played Apples to Apples.  Julia snuggled up in her sleeping bag and KoKo curled up on her legs for a nap...loved it.

I watched this video for the first time in quite a while and I can't believe how good Julia was at just 11 years old. What a beautiful heartfelt performance...

Drama

I overheard Gianna on FaceTime the other day (I still cannot get used to the whole FaceTime thing).  Anyway, Gianna's friend was telling her a story about two girls in their class and how they got into a disagreement, etc. Gianna was very quick to say, "You know what? I don't get involved in that kind of thing. It's just drama and I'd rather not talk about it."  Wow!!!  I quietly called her name and gave her the thumbs up!  When she was done with her call I told her how proud I was of her. She told me she remembers some of the drama from when Julia was in 5th grade and how she learned from that.  Life lessons learned! Makes me a happy Mama.
