My view

Since I work from home, I often have to change where I sit and work to help stay focused. I'm not sure why that helps but it does. So right now this is my view...

I love my Home. I'm so grateful I get to work and live here : ) 

New hobby

Now that I have more free time these days as our three kids are away at college, I've been trying to find some hobbies to keep me busy in my free time.  I love the Diamond Art kits...

I've done a bunch of those and currently working on one now. But I wanted to try something different. So as I was walking the aisles of my favorite store, Hobby Lobby, I discovered these dollhouse kits. There are lots of them...

I've always been obsessed with dollhouses since I was a little girl. I was a little hesitant to buy it wondering if I would be able to do it myself or if I would get super frustrated with all the little pieces. But I was amazed that I could actually do it and it was so much fun to do!!

I think it came out good! I literally assembled every last thing in that tiny room!!

Now I'm working on this one. (This is just a picture of what it will look like when I'm done)...

Some kits are really big so I decided to start out with the smallest one and work my way up to the bigger ones. I'll post this new room when I'm done!

My Mama

It's been four long years since I've been in your presence...to give you a hug...to hold your hand...to listen to you play the piano...to just laugh and have fun with you. I just miss everything about you.. It can be so painful at times. 

My favorite things to do with my Mama...go to Friendly's for lunch and have ice cream for dessert...shopping at Pier One (which is now gone which seems so fitting as you're gone too)...taking leisurely walks around the medical building looking for your growing collection of rocks, leaves and branches which you would put so creatively in your home...looking at your old family photo albums and listening to all your memories (especially of the "twins" and if you didn't recognize someone it was always "Nana Elliott" which always made us laugh)...going to the movies...and just laughing until our cheeks hurt. You were so FUN!  My days are emptier without you. 

I love this video my brother sent me. It shows her love for Mikey. He's in my care now. He's a little extension of her love that she left here for me and my girls.

New England Regionals routines

Such a supportive cheering crowd yesterday! I loved watching the reactions of the high school dance teams sitting in the back bleachers. Some were amazed!  So cute!

New England Regionals

ECDT won their 13th New England Regionals yesterday!  First place Pom and first place Jazz. Plus they won the highest score of the competition with Pom and a special "Wow Factor" award for the Pom lift! The best part? Endicott hosted the competition this year.

The dance dads (and dance brother) of course had to slip in a few beers outside in the parking garage...
