Thanksgiving

I started the day drinking "coffee" with these lovely women from my neighborhood...

Then Danny, the kids and I headed to Brant Rock for our traditional Thanksgiving Day meal at my sister-in-law's...

Danny and I took a walk across the street to the ocean and what a glorious day it was. The air was so crisp and refreshing...

My kids don't like it when I take their pictures so candids it was...

except for The Boy who seemed to elude me.  

Enjoy life while you're living it

I'm soooo happy Nicholas and Julia are home for Thanksgiving break!! It just feels normal around here again.  

I've had a fun few days.  I went with my friends to Muse Paintbar on Saturday. I have zero talent when it comes to art and I honestly don't enjoy it.  You can tell by how stark my painting is compared to theirs...haha!!  I knew it was going in the trash as soon as I got home.  But I always have fun spending time with my besties. We went for a yummy dinner afterwards and we did a little Christmas shopping too...

I've been having so much fun with my Julia since she's been home. She actually likes hanging out with her Mama : )  unlike another child who lives with me : (   We had a really fun shopping day on Sunday at Legacy Place...

And we saw this movie yesterday...

It was just ehhhh...but the buttered popcorn was so good!! And then we had a game night after dinner.  Did I mention that I just love having my Julia home???  

The Boy ended up getting sick about a day after coming home. Poor kid. He just spent the whole day in his bed yesterday.  He's definitely feeling a lot better today though thankfully.  I love having him here because he's THE best hugger in the world!! He loves his Mama too!!

Basketball Rally

Julia's dance team performed at the men's and women's basketball rally.  There was so much energy in the gym!! So much fun!!  

Happy Birthday Mama

Happy Birthday to my beautiful Mama...

She will always remain ageless to me. She was so much fun to be with.  Just so silly.  We would laugh and laugh. And she loved me unconditionally.  I miss my best friend.  And I will miss her every...single...day...for the rest of my life.  I love you Mama.

Danny went to pick Julia up at school bright and early this morning...and they got to see the sunrise together...this is literally right across the street from her dorm...

How fortunate our girl is to live there!  I'm so happy she's home for two days...even though right after she got home she left to go to Boston to see friends.  Oh well.  At least I was able to hug her in person.
