Concert

Julia and her boyfriend are heading out to a concert at Gillette stadium to see Coldplay. Julia and I went clothes shopping yesterday and she very carefully picked out her cute outfit. When you're tiny like she is everything looks amazing! She bought some cute hair jewelry that is very in style right now. She is so excited for this concert. It's a perfect hot summer night with no rain in the forecast. 

Dream Job

I spent the day today with my girlfriends at Nantasket Beach. The day started off foggy and gloomy, but then it burned off and it turned into a beautiful day. One of the conversations we had today was about our jobs. I said I'm grateful for my job, but it's definitely not super interesting or fun. I loved my B&C job, but sadly that company is coming to an end. So I had to find myself something else pretty quickly and an opportunity was given to me. My new job allows me the same flexibility of being able to work fully remote. The people are nice, it keeps me busy and it pays the bills. Then I asked the question out loud..."what is my dream job"? My mind was honestly blank. I couldn't think of anything and the others joked that retirement would be a dream job. Then after I got home it dawned on me. I had my dream job...I was a Mom! Well...I still am a Mom of course...but the job description has changed. That's OK though. I lived the dream I've always had ever since I was a little girl playing in my room with my dolls. I've always wanted to be a Mom...and I was...and I am. I'm so grateful for that. That is my reason for being here. I love my babies. 

Newport RI

We spent a beautiful Sunday afternoon in Newport with Julia's senior dance team friends and their families. We started the afternoon with a drink...

Then we went out on a boat for a few hours and some went swimming...like Julia jumping in first...

These girls are all so close...such great friends...

and it's been fun getting to know their families these past four years...

Such a fun day! 

She's a Nurse

It's official! She passed her test and she's a Nurse!! She was so nervous that she may not have passed. I wasn't worried. I knew how prepared she was. We are so proud!!!

We had a party last weekend. So many of her friends and family came to celebrate with her. I only took a couple pictures. I was too busy and exhausted after all the preparation!

She and some of her friends went to a local bar later that night and then back home for a sleepover...
