This is from my WW app.  This is a six month overview of my weight loss. I started the end of April.

Just goes to show that slow and steady always wins the race.  

At Goal

I did it...finally.  I've been holding steady for weeks and weeks now and feeling great but finally lost those last few pesky pounds and made my WW goal today!  Down a total of 28 pounds...

It feels good!!

My Grandfather

This is a picture of my grandfather walking down the driveway of his childhood home in Nova Scotia. 

Even after all these years, I would know my grandfather anywhere. It's a warm familiar feeling looking at this picture. He was the quintessential grandfather. He loved to travel and had so many fun adventures. He never came empty handed to our house after returning from his trips. He would bring all kinds of fun gifts for us. I having nothing but the best memories of him.

Homecoming Sophomore Year

Last night was Homecoming.  Julia had a few friends over to get ready together...then they went off to another house for more pictures.

I wish Nicholas would participate in these traditions too but it's just not his thing. He was happy to take a picture with all the pretty girls though...

And then...cuteness overload happened.  A boy Julia has been getting to know surprised her by showing up at the pictures with a bouquet of flowers and a note attached asking her to be his girlfriend.  Awwwwww…it was so sweet!  I can’t even imagine how nervous he must have been and what guts it took to do that.  Julia’s a lucky girl!
