You already have it all

MAY ten years ago

This was my life ten years ago in May.  Time goes by in a blink of an eye.

The best school ever...Little Blessings...(and ten years ago I didn't have to wear glasses 24/7 ugh)

a fun night out at Patriot's Place...

I loved spending my days playing and hanging out with my 4-year-old Gianna Mae...

Father Daughter dance...

Kimmy (a.k.a. Dr. Smith) received her Doctorate from Boston College...(Gianna's face!!)

 My Dad was also a graduate from Boston College...and he was still here...

when dance recitals were soooo easy with just one or two costume changes....

when we could hold our littlest girl in our arms...

falling asleep in the middle of playing...

 Nicholas played baseball...

and Gianna was the Queen of facial expressions...

Nicholas participated in Cub Scouts...

and Julia did gymnastics...

and so did Gianna...

 Kissing those days away as beautiful sweet memories...

Last game

Yesterday was Nicholas' last lacrosse game of the season...and according to him...forever.  He really didn't enjoy the long practices and conditioning...but he did love playing in the games!  He hasn't played lacrosse in years so we were very impressed with how well he did. 

He almost always won the faceoffs...

Dance Xplosion

Yesterday Julia did an extra competition for her two solos.  This was her last competition for a while. Thank goodness because they're exhausting!

Of course Julia's biggest fan and supporter (other than me) was there yet again...and her friend, Ally, who was so sweet to show up with a bouquet of flowers for her...

After her first solo was done we took a break to get some ice cream.  It was the most beautiful day and we found this really fun place, Chevy's Ice Cream in Bellingham.  It had swinging picnic tables...

and all kinds of other swings for big kids and adults!!  I want one!!!  It really helped lighten the mood as Julia wasn't very happy with her first performance...

But at the end of the day...she was amazing as always and received the highest medals for both solos...xtreme platinums...and placed 4th overall for Voices!!  

She also received an awesome special award from one of the judges...see video below...

Andrae always knows how to make Julia feel better...

Make up

Julia has turned into the go-to person to do Prom make up these days.  She's become quite the expert with eye makeup and is a pro at applying false eyelashes.

Yesterday Julia did the makeup for her dance friend Sophie's prom...

Next year at this time will be Julia's turn to go to the Prom!

Nicholas is back at hockey again playing for a new team, the Hurricanes.  This is his passion for sure.
