Thanksgiving

Julia ran her first 5k with Kaylah and Annie. She's never done one before and she finished in 33 minutes...

I went to Kymm's house for the annual "coffee" Thanksgiving morning. It's always so nice to start the day with our awesome neighborhood family...

Then we went to Diane's for one of the best Thanksgiving meals we've had. Bree and Alex made their cheesy potatoes and mac & cheese. Everything was so good!! 

Vinny is so freaking cute!! Bree is expecting her second little boy in a few weeks. Excited to meet him! Gianna and Vinny...

And this is little Olivia...Danny and Erica's little girl. She's just 2 months old. How I love to hold babies. I can't wait for our own grandchildren...

The day after Thanksgiving we had Zach, Justin, CeCe, Carolyn and Joey over for homemade pizza. Danny makes the best pizza. Kimmy was sick so she couldn't join us. Julia had the idea to have CeCe stand on the fireplace because she's so short. Haha! 

I loved that Julia pulled out the games...

I really missed having Nicholas home but we FaceTimed him and Haley. They had a nice day too. He'll be home soon on the 16th. Looking forward to a big Nicholas hug! 

And this is how I felt last night after everyone left. Mentally exhausted with the social overload... 

Hockey Weekend

Nicholas traveled to West Virginia this past weekend. He played in the first game and did awesome! Final score was 5-1! 

I think he needs a haircut...

His team is currently in 5th place for the Southeast Region...

and ranked 8th nationally!! 

They're moving up to D1 next year!

Julia's Senior Day Football Game

Saturday marked the very first of Julia's lasts of her senior year at Endicott. She danced at her last EC football game ever. Wow. Did that go by fast!! I tried my best to savor every minute of the day. It was a gorgeous (yet a little chilly and windy) fall day with abundant sunshine. 

We started the morning with a breakfast tailgate...

After the game, Julia went back to her on-campus apartment and saw that her roommates decorated for her and Emma. So thoughtful and sweet...

What a joy it's been watching her perform at the football games. I'm very sad to see this chapter end...

but there's still many exciting things still to come!! Like basketball season, two local competitions and then it's the send off to UDA Nationals!! So excited for that!! 

Quick flashback to her very first football game Freshman Year. The girl on the far right, Alex, transferred after her freshman year but all the other girls are still there...
