WHAT. A. GAME.

I took this straight from the North Hockey Boosters facebook page...

WHAT. A. GAME.

#19 - 2
#16 - 1
#22 - 1
#21 - 1

#31 shut the door (that's Nicholas!)

PK huge kill on a 2 minute 5 on 3

Ears still ringing from the Rowdy Crowd

Huge team win tonight!  #GoNorth!

---------------
Crazy good game last night!  So proud of our boy!  He was amazing in net!  Nail biting...stressful...North's biggest rival...and they won!  HUGE crowd on both sides...tons of kids lined the glass and the bleachers were packed.  Now I know what varsity high school hockey is all about.  Nicholas got MVP after the game!  So well deserved!  Go Nicholas!!

Big game tonight

That's him!  Yay!  Love that picture!  Big game tonight against North's rival - Bishop Feehan.  Unfortunately Nicholas sprained his ankle during the very first game of the season last weekend when someone fell on top of him while he was in net.  Ugh.  He's been limping around all week. Fingers crossed he keeps it out of the net tonight and they all play well!

Pleasantville cookie swap

I've been going to our neighborhood Christmas cookie swap for many many years now and it's always a fun night with these women...

Laura decks her house out with a million lights coordinated to Christmas music!  The most festive house in the hood!

We're very blessed to live in such a great neighborhood. And today is the last day of school for the kiddos and then they're on Christmas break!  Yay!

Cats

Eli loves the tree. He sleeps underneath it...and plays with the ornaments...and breaks them...and pulls the tree skirt off...every single day...multiple times a day...such Christmas fun...

And KoKo tells me it's dinnertime every single day promptly at 3:45 p.m. by sitting directly in front of me boring holes into my head with his staring...but I make him wait until at least 4:00.  He's a typical old man on a schedule. Lucky was the exact same way...

Christmas (Monsoon) by the Sea

Every year we experience different kinds of weather at our traditional Christmas by the Sea in Ogunquit.  One year there was a snowstorm...another year there were huge snowflakes while we shopped and it felt like we were in a snow globe...last year it was bitterly cold...and this year it was pouring rain.  But thankfully it was a warm rain.  All the outdoor activities were canceled unfortunately but we still did our restaurant food tasting event which is always a lot of fun and very yummy...and lots of shopping at our favorite stores.  We just dressed for the occasion and we were fine...

We made edible ornaments for the outdoor Christmas tree when we arrived on Saturday morning...but didn't put them on the tree until Sunday once the rain stopped...

The house looked so pretty all decorated for Christmas and very cozy...

I fell in love with this lovely little space heater...I want one!!

Saturday night Julia and I drove a bit south of Ogunquit to Andrae's first meet of the season.  He placed 6th on vault.  Just incredible talent at that meet.  I had no idea there were so many talented male gymnasts in our area...(watch the very back of the gym)...

The weather cleared nicely on Sunday but it was very windy.  We had a great breakfast at a place down the street called Raspberri's...

The lobby was decorated so beautifully...

After breakfast we went to Perkin's Cove to see the ocean...such a gorgeous day...

My silly girl knows how to make me laugh...

And as usual Pallian always puts me in the Christmas spirit...

High School Hockey

And so it begins. He's been patiently waiting to be starter goalie for his high school hockey team and the time is finally here. He's so excited!!!
