UDA Nationals

What a weekend! Julia's team won the national title for Open Game Day! They also won 2nd place for Open Pom and 6th place for Open Jazz!  Julia is so excited that she gets a ring!!

Friday was the Game Day semi-finals and finals...

Finding out they were in first place after the semi-finals...

Winning the Open Game Day Gold Medal and National Title...

Saturday's competition was the semi-finals in Pom and Jazz. Sunday was the finals in Pom and Jazz. They had amazing performances!!  In the semi-finals, they got to go last for Game Day, second to last for Pom which was fabulous...but they had to go first for jazz out of 27 colleges. Going first hurt them. They ended up in 10th place after the semi-finals. And let me tell you...they are not a 10th place dance team. They proved themselves in the finals and moved up to 6th place! A more deserving position!

Nationals Send Off

Last night was Nationals send off.  Lots of family and friends showed up to support the team.
