Gianna turns 21

We picked her up at school and had lunch at the Cheesecake Factory. Then we went to one of the local bars, The Anchor, and celebrated with her first legal drink. 

It's hard to believe she's 21. Crazy how the time just flies by. Funny how not much has changed from this picture...that girl LOVES to sleep! Haha!

Gianna, you are BRAVE, STRONG, FUNNY and RESILIENT. But most importantly, you are LOVED by so many!! 

Newest Creation The Beach House

The beach house is FINALLY finished! Thank goodness Julia happily volunteered to help! We spent many hours working on this together which was fun. Kimmy even worked on a few pieces! This one was really challenging. Just when we thought we were almost done...there were about 100 more things to do! Haha!! We love how it turned out! 

Afternoon Tea

My new teacup makes me so happy...

So pretty in pink and yellow...and it's the perfect size too! What a find : ) 

Traveling to Chicago

Gianna got to travel with the men's basketball team to Chicago for the Sweet 16 tournament. It was an adventure for sure! 

Kimmy's Birthday

We celebrated Sister Kimmy's birthday last weekend...

 

We watched Harry Styles concert on Netflix and enjoyed a delicious dinner with yummy cake for dessert. It's always so fun to spend time with my Sisters...

Newest Creation The Greenhouse

I loved the greenhouse I made Kerry for Christmas so much that I decided to make one for myself. I used a different kit this time...and let me tell you it was so much easier to assemble... 

I love to add pretty details in addition to what they supply in the box. I added all the the vines and the flowers. I also did my own thing with most of the plants and flowers in the vases. That's the fun part! 

They're so much fun to do! I'm looking forward to doing another one soon!

A little encouragement for this Saturday...

Blizzard

We had a blizzard this past Sunday into Monday. We got 32" of snow and the wind was howling! It woke me up in the middle of the night and it continued well into the next day. This was the biggest storm we've had in years. It was very wet and stuck to everything. I was feeling a little claustrophobic in the house. You couldn't see out of any of the windows...

This is my friend's house across the street...

The wind caused it to pile up really high in places...

and then in other places there was hardly any snow...

The back yard looked like waves of snow...

Danny braved the storm and went out several times to use the snow blower...

Call me crazy but I love it!! 

Goodbyes

New England Dance Challenge Regionals

For the 15th year in a row, the dance team has won the New England Regionals! They did an exceptional job yesterday competing their jazz and pom routines flawlessly. We're so proud of Gianna! She's worked so hard again this year and has done a fabulous job in these competitions.
