Me and another mom took Julia and her friends to Six Flags yesterday...in the miserable 100 degree heat!! It wasn't pleasant walking around the park...but the water park was really nice! We hung out there for a few hours mid-day.

We stopped for a late night dinner on the way home. We were all sweaty, exhausted and starving by then...
As much as I love spending time with Julia and her friends...just thinking about how she'll be able to drive herself there next summer is a relief! At first the thought of it made me sad...but after ten hours walking around in the blazing heat, carrying all their bags and waiting patiently for hours and hours for them to go on all the rides...it actually sounds pretty darn good to me!! I can always do lots of other things with them, right? Right!! : )
