Burlington VT

We took Nicholas to Vermont yesterday. We went up a day early to check out the city of Burlington and the rink where he'll be spending most of his time.  It's literally right on Lake Champlain!  Right at the top of those stairs. Nicholas told me how nice it was but I had no idea how nice!  It's so beautiful...

 Then we went to the waterfront for some drinks and appetizers...

and then over to Church Street for some dinner.  It's such a beautiful city.

 Today we moved Nicholas into his new place...

I was so pleasantly surprised with how nice it is and how much space he has.  He's going to be in this double for the month of September and then he and his roommate will move into a bigger suite with two more kids in October...

I'm actually so jealous of where he gets to live for the next 7 months...

I'm going to miss him terribly.  He gives me the best hugs every day.  But I'm so happy for him at the same time.  He'll be living his best life!  That's for sure!!
