Mother's Day & the Prom

Mother's Day at Little Blessings is always such a wonderful treat...

The children sang us a song...made us gifts...

and served us a wonderful lunch of salad, fruit salad and dinner rolls with ice tea and lemonade. The children did all the work...

Bridget went to the Xavarian senior prom last night with her boyfriend Jordan...

She looked so beautiful! What a smile...and such a nice girl...

I made her do poses...here she's probably thinking "my auntie is a little weird"...

By the time Gianna goes to her prom, Bridget will probably be married with children...how strange that my youngest will be starting kindergarten next year and Bridget will be a senior ending her grade school days...

My best friend, Patty, has done such a wonderful job raising two beautiful girls...

Fun fact: Patty and I went to this same prom when we were in high school! After looking at this picture Julia said, "Mom, your hair looks kind of weird."
