School parties

Today the kids had their Christmas parties at school. First was Gianna's party at Little Blessings. They performed a little play and Gianna was one of the three kings. Before the play started, she couldn't find her prop. One of her classmates found it in a corner of the room. Gianna turned around with her hands on her hips and said, "OK, who kicked it over there!" She's something else.

We had clothing issues this morning. She refused to wear a dress but said she would wear a skirt. I actually got tights on her too. She looked so pretty!

Then it was off to Julia's school party.

Had to get a close up of that adorable toothless smile...

Her teachers are incredibly organized (as seen below)...I mean really organized. The children had fun in an orderly fashion with lots of fun stuff to do. She has three WONDERFUL first grade teachers!

I found this on the classroom bulletin board...notice how neatly her picture is colored.

and Julia's desk...

Then it was off to second grade to Nicholas' classroom...not quite as orderly. The teacher wasn't there (good thing 'cause I've about had it with her) and the room mothers were in charge. They made some crafts and played bingo which was a big hit with the kids.

And looky looky what is hanging on the wall? If anyone has heard about Nicholas' teacher, read this and you'll know exactly what we're dealing with. She is ALL about behavior and being the "perfect" student. If only Nicholas could do just ONE of these things on the list below...and she expects the kids to do all these things at once??? They are 7 and 8 years old!!! Are you kidding me??? And check out the report card grades listed below the expected behavior.

Yippee!!! Leaving school for Christmas vacation!!! A week of freedom and fun!!!

Got to show you a wonderful short video clip from Gianna's school. They always sing "happy birthday" to Jesus.

"May all God's blessing come true to you". Well said Miss Kristen.
