This year I let Nicholas pick out his own presents. So he asked for these headphones...
and picked out this new lacrosse head and accessories...
and the girls surprised him with his favorite candy and a gift card to Cumbies. There have been lots of Cumbie runs this summer to buy candy and slushes...
He wanted chocolate chip pancakes and bacon for breakfast...so he got his wish...
He has turned into a preteen for sure...he's getting a little angsty. It's amazing how that happens naturally.
But he is still such a l-o-v-e...
He asked to go to the Cheescake Factory for dinner and brought along his friend Cooper...
And we "surprised" him with a birthday dessert along with the singing waiters...he loved it!!!
Then the birthday festivities continued the next day with a family party for all the August birthdays in our family...Nicholas on the 10th, mine on the 13th and Julia's on the 28th...
Then Nicholas' birthday continued on with yet ANOTHER birthday party with his two other friends, Timmy and Clay, with a fun trip to Sky Zone and then back home for pizza and a sleepover.
